Cottage 1 & 2 each have 1 good size bedroom with queen size bed, plus another small room, (converted sunporch) with a single bed. There is also a double fold out fouton couch in the living room. All the cottages are clean and fully equipped with cable tv. 3 pc bath (shower) all towels and linens, telephone, fridge, stove microwave and coffee maker, DVD player and all dishes ,gas Bar B que, covered front porchs , back decks etc. These rent @ $695./wk plus hst.

The setting is a private 2 acre area with wooded and grassy areas. They are situated on a quiet cottage road about 200 meters from a very safe sandy supervised beach, about a two minute walk. There are several points of interest within an hour or less from the cottages as well as several safe beaches near by. The village of Hubbards is less than 5 minutes away by car and has most amenities , including grocery store, Liquor store, pharmacy, good resturants etc.

The historic town of Lunenburg is about half an hour away, Peggy's cove about 45 minutes and to drive right across the province to the Bay of Fundy takes about an hour or so. Halifax is about 40 minutes away along a beautiful scenic route, or half hour by highway.

Cottage 3 is a large 2 bedroom each with a queensize bed plus one bedroom has a single bed in the bedroom ,as well. Also there is a fold out fouton couch in the living room as well as two couches, one full size and one loveseat. This rents @ $ 895./wk plus hst. Fax (902) 423-3492 or Phone (902) 422-9640.

PET POLICY
1-PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED WITHOUT PRIOR PERMISSION.
SMALL PETS MAY BE PERMITTED TO STAY WITH  BUT WE HAVE A  STRICT POLICY .
2- THERE IS $50.00 SURCHARGE FOR CLEANING DOG HAIRS ETC.
IF THE COTAGE IS FAIRLY CLEAN AND DOESN'T REQUIRE EXTENSIVE CLEANING A PORTION OF THAT WILL BE RETURNED.
ANY FURTHER DAMAGE ,EXTENSIVE CLEANING ETC.WILL BE CHARGED TO PET OWNER IN ADDITION TO THE $50.00 DEPOSIT IF REQUIRED.
3- PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED ON FURNITURE , INCLUDING ,AND ESPECIALLY BEDS .
4- WET PETS, COMING FROM BEACH ETC. ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE COTTAGE UNTIL CLEAN AND DRY.
5-OWNERS MUST PICK UP AFTER PETS AND NOT ALLOW THEM TO WANDER AROUND THE OTHER COTTAGES.
6- WE ARE PET OWNERS OURSELVES AND ENJOY OUR DOG BUT IN THE PAST WE HAVE HAD A COUPLE OF BAD EXPERIENCES AND HAVE BEEN FORCED TO MAKE OUT POLICIES CLEAR AND INITIATE OUR CLEANING DEPOSIT.
From Halifax:
Take Hwy 103 west to Tantallon exit (look for Sobeys Mall). Turn left at exit lights and proceed to Hwy 3. Turn right and follow Hwy 3 along the coast until you come to Queensland Beach. Turn in by the canteen and continue across the beach and follow the road up into the woods past several cottages until you come to Queensland Cottages, on the left.
From Yarmouth:
Take Hwy 103 to the Hubbards exit to Hwy 3. Turn left and follow Hwy 3 until you come to the canteen at Queensland Beach and proceed as above.
